2014 Frosty Paws 4K
Frosty Paws 4K is a family-fun-run/walk.
November 22 10:00am
Witten Park @ Saxony, Fishers Indiana - 13257 Saxony Blvd, Fishers 47037
You are encouraged to bring your dog(s) to accompany you/your family.
Come join us, and bring your dog! for the second Frosty Paws 4K! Of course, this is Indiana- it may be frosty or toasty...
The 4K course starts and finishes at Witten Park at Saxony in Fishers. We circle Saxony Lake- it's a beautiful, almost entirely-paved route. The event will also have several dog-related activities and booths. Enjoy browsing around with your best-friend.
All human runners/walkers receive a t-shirt, personalized race-bib, and a 'dog-tag' medal. Not to mention the wonderful feeling of spending Saturday morning with your dog:)
We want to get bandanas for the dogs, but we currently need a sponsor to help with that. If you'd like your company logo on a bandana given to amazing people with amazing dogs, please email me - firstname.lastname@example.org
$20 through September / $25 in October / $30 in November / $35 Race Day
It is our hope that this event will raise money and awareness for several local dog rescue centers including Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue, All About Dogs Rescue and Almost Home Schnauzer Rescue.
We look forward to sharing our Saturday morning with you.
I can't make it there but want to: Register for our Virtual 4K! We will mail you a shirt, dog-tag-medal & bib. You then run/walk the 4K on your own schedule. You MUST take your dog on the walk or have Doggy-Karma against you:)
Parking: It's free and everywhere! Park in Indiana Wesleyan parking lot, or along the streets.
Route: http://www.mapmyrun.com/us/mccordsville-in/frosty-paws-4k-route-321800083 is a link. We start & finish on the south side of Witten Park.
Photos: We love taking pictures, and we will take a lot. They'll be posted to Facebook.com/funraces - just like our page and they're yours to share, copy, whatever for free:)
Too Far for my dog: Whether you or your dog are too tired, you may shorten your walk if you wish. We will even mark a 1-mile 'shortcut' for the dogs who want it.
I'd like to sponsor this event: Please email email@example.com if your business supports dogs or people who love dogs.
I don't have a dog: You don't have to have a dog, but you must love them:) Feel free to contact a rescue center and get one or join someone that has a dog, or come and pet others' dogs:)
I have another question: Please email firstname.lastname@example.org
