2014 Easter Egg Run/Walk

Easter Egg 5K is a family-fun-run/walk.

Spring Cleaning is in the air! Bring a donation for St Vincent dePaul and save $5/person

Come join us,for the First Easter Egg 5K / Spring Cleaning!  

The 5K course is entirely in Southeastway Park.  We run on their beautiful trails and grass too.  The park has hosted several cross-country events.

Spring Cleaning time
Please consider bringing some donations for Society of St Vincent dePaul and enjoy a $5 savings per person on the entry fee.  Your extra items may really help some needy families.  Fun-Races will be spring cleaning too! Adults receive a shirt from a prior event.  You also receive swag from a previous event- spin the wheel and get a wine glass, or maybe a coffee tumbler, who knows??  All finishers receive a colorful Easter Egg Medal (See logo)

All Children registered get a colorful shirt (see logo) and a medal to match upon completing the kids run!  All ages may register, and you may hold your children's hands if needed.

Prices with donation (Food, Clothing, Small Houshold Items) reflect a $5.00 savings!

Parking: It's free !  Park anywhere in the park.

Is it timed? Yes, the 5K is chip-timed. It is a USA Track & Field sanctioned event.

Prizes? Yes, top three male and female prizes. We will do age-division prizes if we reach 250 pre-registered runners.

Photos: We love taking pictures, and we will take a lot. They'll be posted to - just like our page and they're yours to share, copy, whatever for free:)

What can I donate? Pre-packaged food, Clothes (clean & no unsightly rips or tears), New underwear & socks, small kitchen appliances  such as toasters, mixers, irons (in working condition) & eating and cooking utensils (pots, pans, tableware, dishers) & gently used shoes.

What are donations used for? St Vincent dePaul will use clothing items for the homeless in its "Beggars for the Poor" initiative.  Small kitchen appliances are distributed to needy families.  Food goes to St Vincent dePaul Fool Pantry.  Learn more at

Where is Packet Pickup? It will likely be race morning before the event.

Stroller? You may push a stroller and don't have to pay for the baby. The course has a lot of grass, so buckle them in:)
